Course Prerequisite Anyone above the age of 12 years old
Audience Members of the public, family members, relatives and friends of adults and children at risk for sudden death. It is ideal for laypersons with no prior medical knowledge who want to learn life saving rescue skills for their loved ones. Minimum age 12 years.
Content Description Basic orientation to the skills of CPR and choking for adults, children and infants, and how to activate the emergency services.
Book Participant will receive an American Heart Association 55-page Family and Friends CPR Booklet for review before, during and after the Course. Learners should receive their manuals at least 1 week before the course.

Audience Lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in their occupation or workplace. Ideal for security personnel, law enforcement officers, fire-fighters, lifeguards, swimming coached, health and fitness staff, corporate and retail employees and other. Minimum age 14 years. Content Description Hands on practice in the skill of CPR use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and choking in adults, children and infants which includes the use of barrier devices, pocket masks and how to activate emergency services.
Book A 51-page Heartsaver CPR AED workbook is provided to each participant for review before, during and after the Course. Two credit card size reminder cards are included with the workbook displaying information for Adult, child and infant CPR and recognition of heart attack and stroke. Learner should receive their manuals at least 2 weeks before the course.

The Course targets all lay responders, such as fire fighters, police, commercial airline crews, security personnel, employees in the workplace, family members of patients at high risk for sudden death, and other laypersons wanting to learn first aid for adults. Note: Course is NOT Department Labour Accredited

Course Prerequisite Anyone above 14 years old
Audience Primarily for those who would need to provide First Aid, CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) for infants and children. This training course is ideal for any parent, nanny or other people involved in caring for children and babies daily. Child safety topics are discussed during this Heartsaver Paediatric First Aid training course and these child safety principles. It is an interactive child and infant first aid training course that provides plenty of hands-on first aid, CPR and AED skill practice scenarios
